how do i turn off the narrator on my nokia lumia 635

i cannot turn off the voice on my nokia lumia 635 phone and it's driving me crazy

IIRC, the button combo to turn it off is hold the volume up button and then hit the home (Windows) key. Don't release volume up until you hear it say it's turning off.
