How do I unlink a microsoft account from a windows account

I have Windows 10 Home with separate accounts for myself and my wife. My account was linked to my microsoft live account so I could sync browser and one drive files across multiple devices. Somehow my wife's windows account was also linked to my microsoft live account. Now both accounts have the same profile pic and email address. How do I remove my microsoft live account from my wife's windows profile?

Hi Joel,

Did you set up separate profiles on the computer for each of you to log into? Are both accounts showing the same profile pic across all devices?

First... When you click "go to my account" it takes you to: https://account.microsoft.com
Do you see anything under the "family"?

Also, you may want to check to see if one of your email addresses is listed as an alias:
- click on your profile icon on the top right and select "My Profile"
- under "Account info" section, check and see if the unwanted email address is listed as an alias.
