how do I use wave files that I have downloaded in my emails in Windows 10?

I want to be able to use these files for instance, when I get an email or when I am on Facebook. How do I associate wave files with emails etc.?

Do you mean 'wave' as in .wav audio files? If so, you open there with audio programs like VLC Media Player. So, you would download the file from your email and open it up in VLC to listen to.
