How long does it take to Hard Reset the Lumia 920?

I have been waiting a good 10 hours for it to be done, I started late last night and it still has the spinning cogs. Should I do something or just leave it? Im sure it shouldn't take 10 hours to reset my phone

Happened to my dads when we hard reset it. It is bricked. You'll have to take it in and trade it for another one. As far as I know, there's nothing you can do to get it back to a working state.

Did your dad take it back to the store and get a new one because it was broken? Because I will do the same if I can

You could flash it. There is a tutorial on here. Search the forums for flash process defined inside.
