Tried all this in the past and the news feed is still uwful.

The issue is you cannot add your favourite websites or news sites (e.g. Windows Central, Engadget, etc. ) - can't be added and you still get pushed tabloid garbage articles. Oh, and to add insult it can forget your blocked feeds.
