How to delete IE11 search suggestions?

Even when I delete history on my phone, the browser shows me suggestions based on what I've searched before. Is there any way to delete them?

Hi! Open the IE app press the bar, and when it show you the suggestions press for one or two seconds the line and then press "delete"

Don't know if I get it right, but nothing happens when I press one of the given suggestions to delete it.

It should show you a pop up message like when you do that in the app menu and then disappear.... That's works for me...

To delete the search suggestions you will need to do the following
Go to settings>swipe across to applications>scroll down until you reach search go into it and find delete history and then your done.
