How to disable password on Kids Corner?

The password defeats the purpose of handing it to a child. And yes, it ask for MY password, not a different password for Kids Corner only. Lumia 520 on Cyan.

As far as I'm aware it's not possible to get around this.

kids corner shares the same option with the phone. You either don't set a password or set a common password for both the sections. There is no way around at least for now.
This in my opinion beats the purpose of having kids corner as kids these days are brilliant enough to figure out that if they knew the password they need not use the kids section.

yep, PIN passwords break a lot of the usefulness of kids corner. I still use it for my kids, as it keeps them a bit locked in if they don't turn off. So it's not completely broken, but just mostly.

With Update 1 in Developer Preview you can set Apps Corner

yah, but you still can't get ANY part of the phone before PIN unlock, which is the whole point of Kids Corner. Kids can play games in a sandboxed login that doesn't have access to anything.
