How to fix error "the code execution cannot proceed because msvcp140.dll was not found."?

Hello. I have this problem with msvcp140.dll. I tried everything I have found about fixing the problem: I tried to download a new msvcp140.dll and paste it in system 32, I tried to download and install microsoft visual c++ 2015 redistributable,I tried to re-register the msvcp140.dll with regsvr32 in cmd,and I could not because I got the error "The module "C:\Windows\System 32\msvcp140.dll" was loaded but the entry-point DllRegisterServer was not found. Make sure that "C:\Windows\System 32\msvcp140.dll" is a valid DLL or OCX file and then try again." So nothing that I tried worked. But the thing is that msvcp140.dll appears to be in the system 32 folder but I get that error. If someone could please help me that would be really nice.
