Windows Central Question

Phone is a Lumia 950 AT&T branded, so it has the latest general distribution (Anniversary?) and latest Camera updates (w/panorama), but not the Firmware update that enables double tap to wake. The Microsoft Photos app no longer opens to display photos, the screen just goes black for a second and then returns to the app menu. These photos can be accessed (they are stored on the phone memory and not a card) via file explorer, but when attempting to select and expand any of them, the message "Launch file. Something went wrong. Could not launch the file." is displayed. They can be accessed, selected and expanded to full screen from Lumia Creative Studio.

Try doing a soft reset, by holding the (-) volume button, and power button. If that doesn't work, it might require doing a full reset, for which you can get all your files back after retrieving a backup-just go to Settings->System->Backup. Hope this helsp a llittle bit...
