As an XPS 13 user, thought it might be good to start compiling a list of battery saving/extending tips. Below are a few that I've started using, but if you have new ones please reply with your own!!
Adjust the screen brightness
Just turn the brightness down. As easy as that.
Check your WiFi
If you have control over your WiFi network (if you're at home!), make sure you're running 802.11ac. This standard actually requires less battery than some of the older protocols.
Quick power ups when you can
If you have your charger handy, just plug it in from time to time (I know this is silly), but quick top-ups are useful, especially if you have to relocate often with little notice. It's just a good habit to get into
