Unless a full desktop OS can be installed on the phone? There is a Linux Distro called Android.

Edit: I have not used that particular one...it's functionality may be vastly different from the mobile OS.

The bootloader on Windows Phone is locked, so it is not possible to install Android. It's the same as with BlackBerry 10 devices being unable to install Android.

The Lumia 640 XL would have been a good test mule for alternative operating systems, if it were possible.
