Hello!
I'm new member here.
I owned long time Lumia 550, week ago I got Lumia 950XL for Microsoft planned discontinuing of Windows Phone/Mobile platform.
I want to use Windows 10 ARM on Lumia 950XL
Phone specs:
Microsoft Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM
OS: Windows Mobile version 1709 build 10.0.15254.575
RAM 3GB, hw revision 4.0.3.1, SOC version 8994, fw revision 01078.00053.16236.35018
I know there's no final version and here are my Qs:
1. I know only about MobileShell Alpha "Carrot" r709. So, it is alpha version. Looks good, but is better to wait for progress in development?
There are working things, issues and other requests. So, still waiting?
2. I know to manage, recover, handle Windows operating systems, but in phones I'm really maybe active customer. Really never tried to install anything like OS on phone. I can only attempt to do anything first on Mobile Emulator in Visual Studio - I have old version 2017 on virtual machine and current 2019 on real Windows 10.
3. I think no matter if I know Windows on desktop/laptop, mobile phone is other taste. Can I ask for suggestions, help and recommendations?
Thank you for answering my Qs.
Miro
