How to keep streaming audio playing during 'sleep'?

Lots of internet radio apps can do it. Is there a way to configure Edge to keep playing streaming audio from a website when my tablet (a Surface 3, not that it should matter) goes to 'sleep'?

Of course I could change my power settings to never go to sleep - but then I'd have to change back when I no longer wanted to listen to the audio.

There's an extension for Chrome called Keep Awake that seems to do what I want, but I haven't found such an extension for Edge.

Thanks

On my Lumia 820 with WM8.1 when streaming from IE I have to keep IE in the foreground and not access any other app but I can then lock the phone and it keeps streaming.

Thanks for the quick reply, gomezz. Perhaps I should have explained that my question relates to running Edge on a tablet rather than on a phone. My observation has been that Windows 10 Mobile handles power management very differently from Windows 10 non-Mobile.
