How to link an Xbox controller to automatically sign-in specific profiles

With today's Xbox One update, you can now link specific controllers to specific profiles for automatic sign-in.
This is great for families or room mates who are sharing a single Xbox, especially if each member of the house has a unique controller from the Xbox design lab.
