How to make phone memory available - LUMIA 535

Hi,

In my LUMIA 535, my phone memory is getting full day by day. My phone memory have, apps+games, emails, maps, system & other data.

I have moved almost all the app+games to my SC Card. I don't know how can i move email, maps & other data to SD card. Is it possible to move all these (email, maps & other data) into SD card.

Kindly let me know how to do that.

Welcome to Windows Central Devesh,

Sorry but that is not possible.
Maps: A few month's ago it was possible to move maps to the SD card but Microsoft removed this possibility. We all hope that MS will add this feature again.
Others: This may contain app settings or data which can not be moved to the SD card.
Mail: Can not be moved but you could check if you have large attachments which you do not need anymore. Furthermore there is a setting in mail to prevent automatically downloading attachments and if you use a separate mail account you could for example delete it and add it again but then without automatically download attachments.

And you probably already use storage sense to delete temporary files and IE history regular.

Thanks Harrie for your answer. I was quiet sure about it, just need some confirmation on the same.

But this is really SAD. I mean my phone has only 8 GB phone memory. It's only 3-4 months. Currently my phone memory is approx 2.8 GB available. Day by day, it's decreasing and very soon my phone will be dead because of low phone memory.

Microsoft should think about it. Also i am waiting for Windows 10 also. I am not sure if i take update of windows 10, then how it will behave.

I suggest wait and a new Lumia with large internal memory.

Yeah. But now a days, it's very difficult to define large internal memory

Min 32G with option for sd card expansion or 64G with none.

Less than this and system or you will feel constipated.
