how to play a video in 5.1

Hi,
I have been searching to try and find out how to play my videos from my 930 to my TV in 5.1. I have a receiver and speakers to play from. I hadn't got xbox one only 360, can I use this or do I pay from a laptop.
Can't wait to hear what is like but just can't figure it out as there is no hdmi lead to use?

hdmi is needed only if you want a wired connection. You can use the dlna function to stream from mobile to your receiver provided your receiver supports dlna feature. 930 is capable of streaming 1080p 5.1 video, make sure your receiver is capable of receiving the same

i don't think the lumia 930 is capable of streaming 1080p 5.1.

everytime i use project my screen, the resolution feels 720, maybe less.

I got my 930 and checked this feature. It works for me. I streamed it to a Samsung smart TV with inbuilt wifi card
