Hi All, I have a MS Surface Pro 4 running W10 with an LG Portable DVD writer .......to save me a lot of time searching around, could you please advise on the best software to play music and DVDs.
How to play music and DVDs?

audio player: foobar2000
videoplayer: Klite Codec Windows Media Player Classic HD.
Foobar2000 has many options and support for all forms of audio.
WMPC supports all forms of videos formats and subtitles too. easy to use and very small footprint. fast as lightning.
wmpc can play standard audio formats like mp3 and m4a. nothing high end like dsf dsd files. and it has playlist options if that's your thing.
otherwise VLC does similar.
