how to properly use a win jr windows phone

Ok so I bought a blu win Jr windows 8.1 phone. I'm not used to using windows phone but I'm used to window XP, not vista:'(, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
Can I get some ideas like what app might be useful and all?.
