How to purchase videos on WP8?

Recently switched from iphone and really struggling on how to purchase videos on my new lumia 920?!

I know there is an issue with those outside the US getting podcasts natively (i'm in England) but is it the same for video?

There's just no option for it in the store...very frustrating and almost reason enough to return the phone straight away.

There's no way to purchase tv series or movies? Like on itunes? Wow - Microsoft have really stuffed it there.

So on my new phone I've got no new podcasts, tv or movies....back to iphone it is then!

So back when the video marketplace was called Zune marketplace was this not accessible from WP7?
