How to rollback an app update

Yesterday i got a nokia creative studio update for lumia 1520 dp 8.1. after the update i charged the phone full and in the evening found that my phone heated for 6 hours and battery fully drained.

Please help as to how to degrade the app upgrade

You can uninstall, and thats it, can't downgrade.
I highly doubt that caused it too.

what may be the reason then...all of a sudden battery heating and draining?

sometimes, we can't know for sure. it could have been a fluke, a glitch where some background task got stuck, etc.
