How to set default camera app?

Is there a way to set a different app as camera app? Easy to do on Android but can't figure it out on Windows phone. Or am I missing something?

If your camera app supports it, then you can go to photos + camera under application settings and select your default camera app. Alternatively, you could use the camera lens feature or simply pin the tile to the start screen.

It's not possible for some reason. 3rd party apps can't be set as the default camera. I hope it changes in Windows 10.

RK that is exactly where you change it. And there are apps that sport it other than the Microsoft/Lumia ones. But it's not any camera app they have to be coded to support the feature.

Oddly enough I have both cameras installed but it is set to Lumia Camera and it is grayed out.
