How to update Lumia 730 and Lumia 640 software update with the help of 3g mobile data?

If phone software update come how will I update that with my Vodafone 3G/airtel 4G ? I have unlimited plan, but WI-FI is not available nearby. plzzzzzzzzzzz help

If its small enough it can go over cellular.

Otherwise, in most other cases, you'll have to use internet sharing/tethering and connect one phone to another and then update.

can't we use 3g/4g directly to update phone software like 900mb?

As of now, no, its a safeguard.

Many people do not have unlimited data and I know personally, I cannot afford to have a 900 MB download over cellular.

Tether one phone to another and download the update and install. Then repeat for the other. (make sure both are plugged in for safety)

yah agree with u, bt everyone can't ger wi-fi always free or near by, that thing Microsoft hav to look, hope it will sort out in win 10

But still, use that tethering trick, it works well, especially with two phones in play.
