How to use my Ivona voices in Microsoft egge chromium ?

[Windows Central Question]

I am using Windows 10 where I use Microsoft edge. And the version is Microsoft edge beta
Version 84.0.522.28 (Official build) beta (64-bit)
and in this windows 10 laptop, I have installed Ivona voices which are not showing In the read-aloud feature of edge.

I have another device which runs on Windows 7. After installing Ivona voices in windows 7 I installed Microsoft edge in windows 7.
and those voices show up in the option.

In short, Ivona voices are showing in windows 7 Microsoft edge but not showing in windows 10 edge.

I am not a very technical person; pardon me if I am wrong. But I checked in the registry editor app. The voices that Microsoft uses are present at

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Speech OneCore\Voices\Tokens

But my installed Ivona voices are present at

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Speech\Voices\Tokens


If somehow edge start using the voices at Speech\Voices\Tokens
our issue can be solved.

I don't know how to modify the registry. Please you make a batch file for me which can export the voices in Speech OneCore to Speech\Voices\Tokens.

I hope you will solve this issue soon. The read-aloud feature is the most unique feature of the edge which made me switch from chrome to edge. and edge became my favourite. Just to make Read aloud better I installed Ivona natural voices in windows 10.

Have you tried a different build channel of Edge Chromium (e.g. Dev or Stable), to see if it works there?
