I have a Lumia 735 running 8.1 update 2. When I am scrolling through Twitter, I do not see any GIFs or video clips when I scroll through the tweets. After dunking my Lumia 735 in the swimming pool, I had to use an iPhone 5 while waiting for IT to get the insurance replacement (my phone is issued by my employer). While I hated the iOS, I really liked the rich features in the apps that I used. For example, when scrolling through WeatherNation's tweets in iOS, you see video clips of tornadoes, hail, etc. In the Lumia app, all I see are static photos & images. The same - no GIFs or video clips - holds true when attempting to view the tweets in the Internet Explorer browser. Is there a setting in the app or in the phone's OS that I need to change to be able to view GIFs and video clips in Twitter? I have tried a few Twitter spin-off apps but they are not any better.
