HTC 8s 8.0 to 8.1

[Windows Central Question]

Hi I have HTC 8s phone which I'm trying to upgrade to 8.1. I have done this before with another one and worked ok. I get as far as 8.0.10532.166 and attempt to download 8.1 and get error message 'the update couldn't be downloaded. (801881d0)
Any help please

Hi, having owned a HTC 8S one of your main problems with downloading the update is lack of space on the phone (Only 4GB internal storage).
How much space are you showing in the phones storage?
You may have to hard reset the phone and retry the download.

I've at least 1gb of storage. Also already done reset and updates using developers preview. Its worked on my other htc 8s so not sure why I'm having problems now
