HTC 8S Won't connect to wifi.

For about two weeks, my HTC 8S Windows Phone 8 has been refusing to connect to any wifi network. When I try to connect to a wifi network a popup box appears saying "Connection unsuccessful - Your phone couldn't reach the wifi network". This is becoming a problem. Does anyone have a solution? I have done a factory reset but it keeps doing the same thing.

Has the phone been dropped?

My old HTC Titan suffered WiFi issues after a drop, to the point where unless I was next to the router it wouldn't connect - it was a bust antenna.
