HTC Windows 8 won't connect to 3G.

Hi there, I have a windows phone 8 by htc and it didn't seem to be working properly( it wouldn't let me download things from the store or even update apps) so I decided to reset it and by doing this it fixed that problem but now I can only download things when connected to wifi. My 3G doesn't seem to be working and when I turn roam of or on or change data connection to 3G it changes nothing. 3G used to work perfectly before I reset it and now I can't access anything internet relate unless connected to wifi. Can anyone help me with this please??

Ps. I also get notifications from text and whatsapp later than I received the actual message if anyone knows what up there too, thanks.

You need to reinstate the APN settings by the sound of it - have a word with your carrier.

Also go to settings and check to see if your carrier/network is selected. Something I had to do when I put my chip in from my previous network

I have selected the network and the 3G icon appears for a second and then goes back to a "H" or "N" icon
