I just accidentally bought a Microsoft Surface Book Prototype?
Bought it second hand, it had a sticker that was hiding that.
Specs: i7 6600U, 16GB ram, 512gb SSD, GTX 965m
Dunno if it has extra stuff or not because I don't know what to look for.
What should I do. 😅

Huh, that's interesting. Who sold it to you? I might contact Microsoft and see if there's something they could do for you. Your best bet is to go into a brick and mortar store. Perhaps see if they'd let you trade it in for a retail model?

Someone on OfferUp, contacted MS and they are looking into it but they said I can keep it if I want or trade it out for a completely new one.

I would trade it in for a new one! new is better than used, also theres prob. first gen hardware in there so it might be flaky and quality won't be upto par as a newer version. but good luck to you! let us know how it goes...

I agree with this 100%. You paid a lot of $ for a Surface Book, i'd want to make sure you get a functional one. Classy move by Microsoft to offer to replace something you bought on the secondary marketplace too.
