My reason might seem simple and silly to others, but for me it was the deal breaker..
I have voted many times to add the ability to hide to "set aside" button on Edge, but of course, Microsoft is enforcing their features..
This stupid button cost me a lot, recently clicked by mistake, caused me to lose a lot of work on one of the tabs that were set aside...

I am done with MS.. phone, windows, surface, etc. for that little reason.
I hope the guys who decide to add features and not study them well will be happy now, I also hope the same for the guys in the hub who decided to ignore many of the users' requests, and I wish MS will continue in this rate, in no time they will only be in museums.

I admit that the button is annoying and yes, lots of people have voiced the same sentiment to MS on various forums (e.g. UserVoice). Sadly it cannot be disabled or turned off but it seems a shame to give up on MS because of one small button in Edge. You can always use Chrome or Firefox instead or take some more time to remember where the set aside button is so you don't click on it all the time. It annoyed me too to start with and I also clicked it by mistake, but I learnt to stop doing it.

Simply and silly are gross understatements. A more rational step would have been to switch to IE or Chrome.
