I bought an xbox card thinking i could buy music with it.. help

So i couldn't find a Microsoft card but i did find an Xbox card so i put in the numbers and stuff and when i tried to buy music it didn't allow it and i can only buy apps on my phone so im pretty upset and i did buy a few apps but still is there not anything i can do maybe there's an option i missed or ? im dumb i shouldn't have even bought it lol ~_~ im just really upset :eck: also im sorry if wrong section to post im a new user:straight:

You need a Xbox Music pass. To play unlimited music. Sorry about that man

I was able to buy an Xbox Music Pass with credits on my Microsoft account. You need to have Windows 8 in order to do it. Same goes for buying music that you keep forever.

You might be able to get the Xbox Music Pass using your Microsoft account balance without Windows 8 via music.xbox.com. I'm not sure about that though.
