I can't configure whatsapp on my HTC HD7 T9292 T-Mobile

[Windows Central Question]

I bought an HTC HD7 T9292 and when I installed whatsapp, the phone requires to enter the previous phone number that whatsapp was using on this phone before it could accept my new number and configure accordingly. The bad news is I dont know the previous number and neither is the person I bought it from.
How do I get around this? Plz HELP.

you might want to consider getting a newer phone model such as the lumia 640 or 650 so that you can enjoy the latest OS available - windows 10 mobile
