I did the free upgrade to windows 10 but my scan shows I have windows 8

[Windows Central Question]

when windows 10 came out, I accepted the free upgrade & it was confirmed. all this time I thought I had windows 10. I just did a Belarc scan of my computer & it shows that I have windows 8 not 10?? How would this happen?
