I cant download apps onto my microsoft phone as i dont know the password for the account. I dont want to reset my phone as ive got photos etc and i dont want to loose them.

Open your hotmail.com via Edge browser or via pc and use the link "I forget the password" and follow the on screen instruction for resetting password with a new one and account cjhecking.

Rember later you'll must change password in your main phone account for continuing use
