One of two things has likely happened:
The LCD connectors has come loose, or you broke your LCD display. Look closely and see if you can see any cracks under the dash.
Honestly, I suspect the latter. You can take off the back and the midframe to check the former.
Sorry, I thought this was the 830 thread - I've never taken the back off of an 820, so I don't know how to do that. Check your LCD for cracks.
