I have a legal Win 7 running on a Sony laptop. How do I get a free instal of Win 10 ?

My Sony laptop was a Vista OS model with free upgrade to Win 7. I took it to a Sony store and they upgraded it to Win 7.

The machine was bought by my wife who passed away in July 2015. She was registered with the Sony people who did the upgrade.

The computer suffers from having more than one antivirus program installed; doubtless Windows 10 instal will solve that problem !!

Are you an administrator of that PC? Do you know the account name and password for the administrator account?

Is the BIOS locked?
