I just updated to Windows 10 on a Vaio Laptop computer and the background is black. Why?

I just updated to Windows 10 on a Vaio Laptop computer and the background is black. WHy

I had a background screen, when I updated to windows 10 the background is black,
I get my icons but not the background screen.

by background you mean desktop screen or the screen when you log in?

You can change them in settings > personalisation
