I have a cricket phone and i got a att samsung galaxy s7 edge from my grandson but it is locked how do i get it unlocked or will cricket unlock it if i take it in ?

An AT&T locked phone will work with a Cricket SIM. If I understand you correctly, this is what you want to do. Or not? If so, unlocking it is not necessary.

Either way, Cricket won't unlock it. You would need to go to AT&T.

The above comment is correct. Cricket wouldn't and couldn't unlock the phone. You'd have to go to AT&T, but getting a phone unlocked is a bit of a process. On the bright side, Cricket utilizes AT&T's network, so you should be able to slide your Cricket SIM in and be good to go.

Unlocking an AT&T phone is as easy as going to att.com/deviceunlock and filling out a few questions like device IMEI, your name and email address. Usually within 2-3 days you get your unlock code unless there’s a problem like a balance on the phone’s account, etc. I’ve done it countless times without issue.
