My built in 1.2 HD umc Web cam on my Asus Q55LN laptop isn't detecting on Windows 10 is there a driver I can download to update it or add it back on my computer. It became a problem since the latest built of windows 10 that I notice this issue. It says on Skype desktop and Skype Phone as well

It's not listed on Asus's website. I look there any other websites that I can get it

i tried driver booster 3.2 but the web cam driver there.isnt an update. do you think this is a skype issue

never mind. I guess I got to stay with the windows 8.1 atk package the windows 10 atk package did not allow it to work on skype

Before you conclude that it is an issue with the OS or app, you might have to check the device manager to see if the driver for the webcam is installed.

Also as per the link below, your laptop is designed for Windows 8.1 and upgradable to Windows 10. So, drivers must be definitely available with ASUS. Email them or search on google.com.

Also your laptop model is Asus Q551LN (not Q55LN).

My is the best buy exclusive model from last year it's also a 2 in 1 convertible laptop by Asus with an nivida 740m graphic card 1 tb hard drive 8gb of ram cd/did burner reader, 1.2 hd ucm Web cam and an i7 Intel possessor. Does those specs help.
