I need to be able to get Windows Updates, and I can't. Can this be fixed?

Hi. I followed instructions from this site, apparently, to delete Edge from being on my system and to keep Windows update from being able to install it on my PC. Now, I find that Windows Update won't install the latest updates if Edge is not on my system. I need to reverse the changes I did with your instructions. I tried to do it myself using your instructions to reverse the changes and I couldn't do it.

Most of the time basic culprit will be your 3rd party antivirus.
So uninstall and then try to update the system.
if no then share the error msg detail so I can help you to get out of this mess.
