I'm on MetroPCS but since T-Mobile owns Metro, pretty much any phone T-Mobile gets MetroPCS will get too.

I swear that if T-Mobile doesn't get the 830 I'll switch to AT&T. Before the only reason I didn't switch was because of the amount of data you get power month for $45. But now I don't need all that much data sp I don't care. The 830 will be replacing my lovely 521 which I really need an upgrade from. And the 830 is exactly what I want and need.

I bought the 830 GSM unlocked on eBay. And it actually works great on MetroPCS. The SIM that my 521 have didn't fit so I just went to a MetroPCS and got a SIM card that fits the 830. The guy said that the iPhone's is the one to fit. Been about a month of using this phone and totally love it.

When the carrier doesn't have the phone you want go Factory Unlocked or SIM unlocked.

I haven't seen anything other than the original speculations that it would arrive on other carriers. I believe that was based on FCC filings, but not sure. Absolutely zip from T-Mobile. Store reps and t-force folks I have asked have no idea if it will ever be offered, but unless there is an official announcement they usually don't know about any upcoming releases.
