I synced my FB contacts so... when does it sync? everyday?

It doesn't have the settings to configure when it will sync.. I have thousands of friends, so syncing it lets say everyday consumes battery?

it has a very minimal effect on battery life.

i dont know for sure, but it does sync periodically, and can probably be triggered manually as well.
it will use battery, but impact is likely to be minimal.
