Icons in File Explorer are extremely ugly

I've never seen such horrible icons. Totally ugly. I mean, some of the icons are "ok", but these yellow folder icons? They are really the worst icons I have ever seen on a computer!! Like some school kid did them with Paint. I was shocked when I first opened the Explorer in the new build.

Mildly ugly. Not so horrific, but still bad.

I like them. They're vibrant, detailed with little icons in each folder for what they contain and a step up from the dated & bland old icons that haven't changed much sine Windows 95

I agree they are kind of ugly. I hope they would improve on it in later builds and what we have now are just placeholders. I love win10, but I hope the file icons changes

I'm afraid this will be it. If they were intended as placeholders, they would have used the old w8.1 icons. No point in creating new icons just as placeholders.

Maybe if we nag they enough, they might change them.... hopefully...... but with MS's track record, I won't hold my breath.
