So what do you want from a calendar app?

basically the native calendar design and functions plus
- week agenda view
- actual data in month view (not just lorem ipsum)
- configurable live tile (i.e. more than one upcoming appointment, to-dos)
- integration with lock screen (same as live tile)
- multiple live tiles - one for meetings, one for to-dos


that's what I miss in the default one, from the top of my head at least

Integration with lock screen is hard. I might need to make a lock screen app with a added calendar than a calendar with added lock screen.

About 2 live title it can be done but you need to separate work and to-dos easy, i can show them with different colour.
One cool feature i am thinking of adding is to show weather status in calendar

we do need a good calendar for WP8
used to have a good choice when I was on android
loved the one below still use it on my tabletI emailed developer said will not come to WP8 at the moment:unhappy:

this app is not going to fit into metro ui.... Hate this

will consider it will making.

Also thinking of making a app for developer phone to by pass 40min update cycle.

Will surely consider the app design

If you can really develop a calendar app, can you look at how it was implemented under Nokia's old Symbian S60v3 or 5.


Under that, your current or next appt was listed in the large space below the month view calendar where you create it.


You also had various views available to you to chose and create appt's in Personal, Anniv or as to-do's which can also be displayed as default calendar displays.



Don' tknow why this last screen snap is there.
