IE11 password issue

I have a problem with the save password funktion in IE11 on my lumia 1020 with 8.1.

If I save username and password on a website then when I return to that website the password is wrong. For some reason the password is much longer than the one I saved. Does anyone have an idea why?

does the site give a message that it is wrong? or is it just the *'s seem more than necessary

The site gives the message that the password is wrong and I can see that there are too many characters in the password box.

in my phone it shows too many characters but the password usually is correct.
If the passwords sync with a win 8.1 pc of yours, check the passwords using the credential manager in the pc
