If I change the email on an Xbox account to my phone Microsoft account, will it replace the one crea

A while ago, I started up my 640, went to the games app and it created a Xbox account under it. I didn't want that, I wanted to sign in to my account on my Xbox which is under a different email. If I change the desired Xbox account email will it replace the one on my phone that was accidentally created?

That should work.
If you didn't make any purchases with the unwanted account, just sign (probably in a web browser) and close the account.

People usually don't make it down to the Xbox section of this forum. I've been looking for a decent Xbox forum lately, and not one that bashes other platforms or complains that there is too many "entertainment" apps and features. I bought mine as an all in one device.
