If lumia 625 support 1080p@30 fps , then why can't other lumia's such as 720,620 and 520?

It seems that lumia 625 supports 1080p@30fps HD recording.. Why is it limited to 720p on other lumia's like 720,620 and 520? Any clue?

^ incorrect

The L520, L620 and L720 all incorporate the same SoC, the MSM8227. Consequentially, they share the same core specs, including video recording capabilities.

However, the L625 will incorporate an MSM8930... this newer SoC (although mostly identical) does support 1080p@30fps.

i mean the hardware :) i think they're trying to seperate the devices with different generation of devices :) BTW i think recording 1080p is not a big deal, 720p still nice

Lumia 625 have the newer SoC and it has slightly faster processor than 520, 620, and 720 :D (1.2 GHz)

... although that ever so slightly faster CPU has nothing to do with its improved video recording capabilities.
