Why should there be problem servicing a cosmetically fancy looking hardware running a stripped down Windows 10 operating system ?

Cut people from other countries some slack, please. They are just as technically competent as the American counterparts.

I guess it would be dependent on what sort of services are available in the buyers country from Microsoft. I know most of the Surface products come with information specific to the country the product was purchased in, and is part of the registration process online.
