Two apps I found recently in the market that was not just a surprise but look great as well.
1. 10Tracks. (free) A music service that allows up to 40 gig of space for your music. You upload from your desktop and either play from the cloud or download to your device. Plenty I don't yet know about it but it has pretty stellar reviews and worth checking out. ( I recommend this one)

2. Hot Music ( free )
I found albums like the new Rascal Flats CD there.Here is the write up.
You can listen and cache free music.
Key features:
1.High-speed download music in the background
2.Top music includes Billboard, UK Top, Japen Oricon Top, Korea M-Net Top
3.New albums includes English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese
4.Search song and album by track name or artists
5.Listen to the cached music offline
6.Background plays support
