India 1520 users-query

Hi friends,
I am planning to buy a 1520 tomorrow from reliance digital. The sales guy told me that they have only one piece left with them. Although the box is sealed, it has a MFD of jan-2014 and shows as imported from Nokia Beijing.
I have used a 920 in past and the experience was not good. I purchased that set from a small shop and I suspect the handset was faulty.
Can any 1520 users share their experience?
Anyone using a 1520 with same MFD?
Any issues observed? ?
Btw, it's black colored. I wanted red but glossy thing pulled me back.

Well, I am not a 1520 owner. Why don't you buy it from Flipkart? I mean they have other variants (like White, Yellow, Red) and ship 100% genuine phone with Manufaturer's warranty. I am not advertising Flipkart here, but I have a pleasant experience from Flipkart and have bought my 525, 510 from Flipkart and they seem to be working butterly smooth. Just thought to help you

I don't trust the reseller who supplies to flipkart- W S Retail. Read a lot of negative reviews about them.
And besides I am getting a good deal from reliance digital. (Almost Rs 1800 cheaper than flipkart)

I am just concerned about an old manufacturing date..

Try croma, I got denon ear phones worth MRP 6000 market value 4000 & capdase case and car charger worth 1000 along with the phone and also one year additional warranty worth 1000. The phone cost me 41999. Also I received a canon printer worth 1700 plus voucher Rs.1500 to buy apps.

Just see to it that the seal is intact and open the seal by yourself.

Except for the widespread touchscreen sensitivity issue, the phone is a charm. Mine is also 1520.1

If you are a gamer, this is the best phone for gaming. Absolutely loved the phone till now. No issues whatsoever. Long live Nokia.

Thanks for all the responses. I bought it today (black one) and i LOVE it!!!
Awesome device, makes my last phone feel (samsung note 2) like CRAP!!!
Smartphone manufactures should learn from Nokia- how to MAKE a smartphone

Still exploring the features and the camera is just WOW !!
(btw, i am from Bangalore but lived in pune for sometime during my student life )
@wprocks- i always do some analysis if i am gonna spend my hard earned money
