I was a Windows Phone user and I liked it. But then I bought an Android Phone. I hate it. However it seems like new Windows Phones are not coming in near future. All others are old ones with outdated technology.
I was wondering if there is a way to install Windows 10 Phone on my Android phone. Can anyone help?

No there isn't. The hardware requires specially written drivers, so if there are not drivers, you can't run the OS on it.

There is one android device, one of the xiaomi devices that partnered with MS, to make a windows ROM for it, but as I understand it, it was an experiment and was still a tad buggy.

The best you can do is buy an HP elite x3 (which I believe is the highest specced device), or wait for andromeda to be released.

That said, I really don't feel like my lumia 950 is outdated. The camera is still competitive with modern phones, it's reasonably fluid. I brought a new budget android phone for my mum, and it's ****e compared to my lumia. Sure, android phones are getting pretty high spec now, but as I understand it, you still get stutters in some activities because of the OS (I've seen games lagging with the latest snapdragon and 6gb of ram, which is kind of insane really). I think apple devices are smoother these days, and they don't have as powerful hardware (and I kind of hate them).

I guess what I am driving at, is I think with android, they aren't really maximising the benefits of the high end hardware, performance wise anyway.

What Android phone did you get? I just made the switch (sadly) to Android with a Xiaomi phone and I actually quite like it.

I finally gave in and got a Galaxy S8+. Good camera; not sold on the 18:9 screen. Still pull out my 950 XL every once in a while and play around with it, for nostalgia sake...

I am happy with my Android phone for what it is. Mainly because their is no additional bloatware. it's sad that I have so many W10M devices now just gathering dust.

I have the Lumia 950 also but it works sometimes but most of the time it doesn't. It will bootloop but under just the right conditions (random) it will boot up normally. But the wifi gets disabled and the switch to turn it back on disappears. It also randomly restarts and often goes back to the bootloop. I've tried resetting it. Hard resetting. Using the Windows Device Recovery Tool and resetting it. Nothing seems to work. I've tried three different batteries.

Finally, I bought an Android phone (ZTE Blade V8 Pro) and I'm really pleased with it for $150. But I still miss the 950. It just did so many thing so well.

I still have my Windows Phone 8.1 (Lumia 822) and my Windows Phone 7 (HTC Arrive) but mainly for nostalgia.
